5K fundraiser to help Kendall Pipkin fight cancer

Cancer SUCKS!!!!
It sucks physically, mentally and financially. We're hoping to at least be able to make it suck a little less for Kendall Pipkin by raising funds, so he can take the time he needs to kick cancer in the butt!! So come on out and run your butt off at our 5k run then relax with a burger or a hotdog and pick a tee shirt and bracelet. We're also hosting a bake sale and raffle! Let's run our butts off to help Billis kick cancer in the butt because colon cancer sucks!!

When: September 10 2016 at 8am
Where: Starts at the corner of Mohave Ave. and Hildale St. in Colorado City, AZ (South Reservoir) Ends At Maxwell Park

Join us at Maxwell Park at 12:00 Noon for the fund raiser. We will have a raffle, bake sale, hotdogs, and hamburgers for purchase. All Proceeds go to Billis.

Kendall (Billis) Pipkin was diagnosed several months ago with stage 3 colon cancer. He immediately underwent surgery to remove a large mass and several inches of his colon. He was scheduled for chemo therapy there after, and is now at the half-way mark for this treatment. 

    Billis continued to work up until a few weeks ago when the treatment and medications started taking a toll on his body. Some family members and friends got together. We realized the huge need for assistance in helping him pay his bills for a family of 6 so he wouldn't stress, also to be able to afford travel expenses for treatment, not to mention funds for immune boosting supplements that insurance does not cover.  

  We are holding a 5K run on September 10th, 2016. Going from the south reservoir in Colorado City, and ending at Maxwell Park in Hildale. There we will have food, entertainment, and a raffle basket fundraiser. 

    You can help by being a sponsor at any amount. We have ordered 300+ t-shirts and are having our highest sponsors printed on the back for a $250 value sponsorship (cash and raffle basket value). Sponsorship of $100 value will be on our banner at the park as well as mention on our stages. We need this sponsorship donation by August 31st with a .pdf file of your logo for the t-shirts.

  Also we are looking for volunteers to help out with set up, work the event, and take down/clean up.
